Originally from Winter Park, Florida, Will Patrick grew up steeped in music from a young age. At 4 years old, he first heard a “Best of Jimi Hendrix” album featuring hits like “Stone Free” and “Dolly Dagger” and became dedicated to guitar. He began writing music at 12 years old in his bedroom, recording his originals onto cassette with his acoustic guitar. Some of his fondest memories include visiting the Winter Park Library to check out albums like “Led Zeppelin I,” “The White Album,” “Dark Side of the Moon,” and “Kind of Blue.” Will then started gaining attention after performing locally around Orlando, where he has cultivated a devoted community of supporters and friends.

After establishing himself in New York City, Will began playing in Harlem and the West Village, performing in the same clubs as Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, and Jimi Hendrix. Will has a deep appreciation for playing in venues that have been touched by music legends. A highlight of his career in NYC has been performing at the Blue Note New York on the same bill as Pat Martino, Larry Coryell, and Vic Juris. Connecting with the rich music scene in the West Village and Brooklyn has made an important impact on Will’s musical life. The music scene in New York has been a place where he feels he can be creative and build authentic relationships with collaborators and audiences alike.

...Guitarist and Singer-Songwriter, Will Patrick is a seasoned pro with a mature sound, having played guitar with various jazz legends since his teens. The Floridian in New York specializes in casually complex jazz fusion, but also has a wonderful line in hazy hip-hop and neo-soul inspired moods. One thing you can guarantee from his performances this week? Groove...
